cheap gaming mouse

It’s a fact, PC gaming is a very expensive hobby. On top of building your own PC, or buying one you need to gear yourself with a lot of things such as a keyboard, a monitor, a mouse pad, headphones and a mouse.

Nowadays with so many options, it can be a long process to find a right mouse for you. I think it all depends on your needs. Do you need a lot of macros? Do you need different DPI settings? Do you like to personalize your mouse colors?

These are all features to look into when buying a gaming mouse, for me the most important thing to consider when buying is the price. Especially if you’re on a budget, you don’t need to invest a big amount of money in order to find a great gaming mouse.

This is my goal today, to find good cheap gaming mouse who offers “gaming” features for a low price.

Editor’s Pick: The choice was hard, all of these mouses are similar. The big winner is HAVIT HV-MS672 Ergonomic Wired Mouse. We choose this one because of its unique look. I absolutely love the “lighting” effect on it. With his six buttons and four different DPI settings which are great for the price.

To start off our list, we present the 1byone Programmable Gaming Mouse, a beautifully designed mouse with eight programmable buttons. You can choose between preset programs or edit new macros or shortcuts to enhance your gaming experience.

What I like about this mouse is the customizable DPI setting, you can choose five different settings, (1000/1750/2500/3500/4000). You can quickly cycle through the different DPI level with a single button.

The way you know on which setting you are is determined by a color, 1000 DPI, red wheel button, 1750 DPI, blue wheel, etc.

Despite it’s ergonomic build and amazing hand feeling this mouse isn’t made for people with big hands using the fingertip grip.

When you look at this mouse with the lights on, it looks like a transformer, which I find pretty cool. The design isn’t the only thing it offers, this beast has eight programmable buttons, and up to 7000 DPI settings, you can choose eight different ones, (1000/1500/2000/3000/4000/5000/6000/7000), which is perfect for different types of gamers.

This mouse provides a unique grip on top of its ergonomic design, great for long gaming sessions. What really interested is the weight adjustment feature, you can add small weights in the back of the mouse, I found that concept pretty impressive. More weight adds smother and gives you a boost in accuracy and precision.

A simple yet elegant mouse, I really like the design of this one, it looks like a high-end gaming mouse. Well let me tell you it can compare to one, it has seven different levels of DPI setting from 1000 to 7200 DPI, which is pretty good for a budget mouse.

It’s a plug & play mouse, so don’t worry about a confusing setup. The Optical technology works on most surfaces, another thing to not worry about, which is great if you don’t like mouse pads.

The only problem I can find about this mouse is, the 7 buttons aren’t fully programmable. It depends on your needs, if you’re a hardcore macro user then this mouse is not for you.

Compatible with a lot of different platforms. With a DPI adjustment up to 2000, this mouse has six buttons they are not programmable unless you download a third party program which I recommend for advanced users.

The only flaw I can see is the led does not close when your computer enters sleep mode, it’s not a big deal but if you’re like me and need complete darkness to sleep it might be a problem.

HAVIT HV-MS672 Ergonomic Wired Mouse

It has 4 different DPI settings, (800 / 1200 / 1600 / 2400). On the other hand, 2400 might sound low, but it’s still pretty good.

Another simple plug & play mouse, no additional software or firmware required. There’s seven different led color that changes while in use, offering soothing ambient lighting. Unfortunately, you cannot set 1 specific color.
