Does your mouse cord get tangled when you’re gaming? Does it slow you down during those crucial shootouts?
Many hard-core gamers have the same kind of issues. Their mice work fine most of the time. But if you’re a serious gamer, most of the time isn’t good enough. You want a mouse that you can move restriction-free 100% of the time.
Wireless mice sound like a great solution. But because of problems with batteries and slower response times, they’re not ideal for hard-core gamers.
A mouse bungee holds your mouse cord in place at length you’re happy with. This stops the cord getting tangled and means you’ll always have enough room to move it about without restriction.
This is a godsend for those of us playing games where you have to move your mouse quickly.
If that sounds like you, here’s our list of the best mouse bungees you can buy today.
Here is our list of,
Best Mouse Bungee
ENHANCE Mouse Bungee Cord Holder

This super-stylish mouse bungee will look great on your desk if you’re into futuristic looking peripherals.
What I like about this model is the way it suspends your mouse cord above your desk.
This means no friction whatsoever, so you’ll be able to move your mouse just as fast as a wireless one! This kind of feature can help during fast-paced play.
An important feature of mouse bungees is the ability to grip to your desk.
If yours can’t, it’ll end up coming loose while gaming and will cause more obstruction than if you didn’t have one.
The ENHANCE has three non-slip rubber pads which help it grip. This means it won’t be slipping anytime soon and gives you the freedom to move your mouse rapidly. It’s also relatively heavy for a bungee. So it has excellent stability and is unlikely to be knocked off your desk too.
MECO(TM) Mouse Bungee Mouse Cord Management

If you’re on a budget and haven’t got very much to spend on a mouse bungee. Then this might be the perfect option for you.
While it’s not the best bungee we’ve looked at here, it is less than half the price of some of the others.
It’s quite a tall unit, so it will easily hold the cord off the ground. This means (like the ENHANCE model) there won’t be any friction on the cable. So moving the mouse will be quick and without drag.
The MECO is one of the less stylish options we’ve seen, but it isn’t an eyesore by any means. Nobody’s going to laugh at you when they see it on your desk.
When I was using the MECO I thought it lacked a bit of weight, and maybe didn’t grip the desk as well as I’d like.
However, it’s still an excellent option, and if you’re tight on cash, it might be worth picking up.

This is probably the best bungee you can buy right now.
But it has one glaring problem.
It looks like crap.
Honestly, I don’t even know what to say about it…the designers could have added some LEDs or something. It just looks terrible.
But, if you can get past that, it’s a fantastic bungee.
It grips your mouse cord well and has enough weight to stay firmly planted on your desk. Even during intense play, it’s not going anywhere.
You can also adjust its height to what’s most comfortable for you, and its tough grip will keep the cables firmly in place.
It is one of the pricier options. But in my opinion, it’s well worth the money, as it’ll be the only mouse bungee you ever need.
But if you do decide to buy it…cover it up. Put a bag over it or something.
Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Galeru Mouse Bungee (EDITOR’S PICK)

The Thermaltake is a legit rival to the ZOWIE concerning build quality. And it looks a ton better too.
It’s a very stylish model, with a solid black base and a curving, serpent-like cable holder with a twist at the top.
So it’s much more handsome than the ZOWIE.
It also has a decent weight to it and grips your desk very nicely. This is of course critical in a fast-paced gaming scenario where slippage can mess with you.
The clamps that connect to your cables are beautiful and strong. So they won’t slip out while you’re gaming and build up any unnecessary slack. The unit is also adjustable in height, so it’s easy to move it to the most comfortable height for you.
Overall, I think the ZOWIE might be a marginally better unit (although it’s very close). But I’d probably get the Thermaltake because I can’t imagine having the ZOWIE on my desk…without wanting to throw it out the window.
Razer Mouse Bungee
The final model we’ll look at today is this option from Razer.
It’s pretty damn good.
Not as good as the ZOWIE, or the Thermaltake. But not bad either.
Firstly, it grips your desk nicely. As we discussed earlier, this is very important. If your bungee launches itself across your desk at the slightest pull, then it’s not doing its job very well. Thankfully this won’t happen with the Razer.
Secondly, it holds your mouse cord at a decent height. One of the main benefits of a bungee is the lack of friction when gaming. Making your movements that little bit faster can make all the difference and the Razer accomplishes this.
My only issues with this model are the fact that it costs pretty much the same as the ZOWIE and the Thermaltake, despite not being as good….and that it won’t grip all mouse cords particularly well either.
But if you’ve got a soft spot for Razer products, it might be worth picking it up.
If you don’t game on your PC or do so only casually, then there’s no need to spend the extra money.
But, if you’re a serious gamer. And you want that extra edge in speed that a mouse bungee can give you, then consider picking one up and taking your gaming to the next level.
