This is a fantastic card and is just astonishingly powerful. You can easily play multiple screens on incredibly demanding games with this GPU, and you’ll still get a brilliant frame rate. It has 12GB of GDDR5 RAM which is enough to play any game without sweating it at all.
This card wouldn’t just suit hardcore and professional gamers, but also those who spend a lot of time doing demanding graphic design and video editing. It has enough power to cut down drastically on rendering times, and you can get out incredible play in your favorite games too.
Given how incredibly powerful this card is, it’s fairly compact. It’ll take up far less space than some of the less powerful cards we’ve previously mentioned. Don’t get me wrong it’s not tiny, but you’ll have a much easier time fitting it in your case than some of the other cards.
This is a seriously expensive card. Obviously, we’re in the ballpark of extremely hard-core gamers, but this is a very pricey bit of equipment.
At this point you’re not getting bang for your buck. Each extra dollar is getting you less and less performance. However, as long as you’re aware of that this is a great option. It also gives the ability to genuinely future proof your PC.
|AMD FirePro W9000 (100-505859) 6144MB PCIe x16 Gen 3.0||Check Price|
This is a sensational GPU available from AMD. The first thing to say is that you shouldn’t be put off by the relatively small amount of RAM (just 6GB of GDDR5 on this model). This is an incredibly efficient and powerful Graphics Card. You’ll have no issues playing any game you want on this card, on any settings as well.
Again this is a ‘pro’ level card. You can play extremely demanding games and also engage in graphics and video editing. If this is the kind of thing that you’re into and you’re looking to fulfill both requirements, then you might like this card.
While this card is excellent, it’s very expensive even for this price bracket, and the performance isn’t going to be very much better than alternatives over $1000 cheaper. As a result, it’s difficult for me to recommend it wholeheartedly.
It’s an excellent card, but it’s hard to justify how much more expensive it is than cards which are almost as good, and some even better.
This is a very heavy and bulk card. So the usual recommendation of being sure you’ve got enough space before purchasing is still relevant here.
This is a card with excellent stats (as you’d expect in this kind of price range). It produces 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, so it’ll be more than good enough for playing in 4k or whatever else it is you’re looking to do.
Given its power and specs, this is quite a light card, which makes a nice change. An advantage of this is the card is unlikely to bend under its weight like a lot of the more expensive ones end up doing. Being this light can only help its longevity.
I haven’t personally gamed on this one, so it’s difficult for me to give you very much insight of what it’s like to play on. Similarly, there isn’t very much information on how these cards play.
As a result I can’t really recommend this card to you, while I’m sure it’s excellent, I always like to either try out a product out before buying, or at least get a range of views from people who have tried it. As I don’t have either of these things I can’t really recommend it.
|PNY NVIDIA Quadro K5200 8GB GDDR5 PCIe3.0 GPU Graphics Card (VCQK5200-PB)||Check Price|
This card is an extremely powerful and efficient model available from PNY. It has 8GB of GDDR5 RAM and is powerful enough to let you play extremely easily in a super-high definition like 4k.
Play incredibly demanding games like Battlefield 1 with no lags and a smooth 80 FPS throughout. A card this powerful is a gamers dream.
We’re getting into the kind of price range where these cards aren’t just perfect for gamers, but also for those who do a lot of professional editing work, particularly in video. If this is something that you’re into, or think you might like to get into, then this card might be perfect for you.
It’s very expensive, but what do you expect? This is a great card and will handle everything you throw at it with ease.
This is the dream kind of price range. At this point, we’re talking about spending a LOT of money, and you’re probably not going to get the most efficient return per dollar spent.
However, you will get the most advanced GPUs available today, capable of playing any game available and doing pretty much any graphically demanding task required of them. So whether you’re a hard-core gamer or someone who edits video for a living, the cards in this range might just be perfect for you.
Not only is it the most powerful card in this range with an eye-watering 12GB of RAM but it’s also far more compact than you’d expect, making it easier to fit inside your gaming rig than a lot of other GPUs.
You’ll be able to play games in 4k at an astonishing FPS
, and this card is completely future proof, with more RAM than any game with conceivably need. It also has enough power that if you wanted to get into high-end video editing, you could do that no sweat.
It will run coolly and without much noise and even though it is an expensive purchase it’s also not the priciest in this bracket. An amazing card and a no-brainer in my opinion.
