Best Gaming PC Under $2500

You’ve always dreamed of building the ultimate gaming PC but did not have the budget nor the knowledge to build one? Well, you are at the right place, we cannot provide you the funds, but we can give you what kind of hardware you need to build this monster. In this guide, we will overlook components to build the best gaming PC under $2500.

You might wonder what kind of pieces are on this gaming PC. As you may expect from a 2500$ gaming PC, the hardware in it are incredibly strong. Two EVGA GeForce GTX 1080, yes two, an Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop, an MSI Pro Series Intel Z270 DDR4 and let’s not forget that gorgeous computer case.

This build will be able to play most game on the highest possible setting without any lag, even the most recent AAA games and the ones that aren’t even out yet. This build can even run games on 4k, which is amazing. On top of all that you won’t have to worry about switching parts anytime soon, this PC will still be super strong a couple of years from now.

Like I always mention, before purchasing all these pieces, you need to make sure they are compatible with each other. Believe me, you will not be happy if you build your computer and it doesn’t work because some hardware is not compatible.

When you build a mind-blowing PC like this one, you need the gaming accessories to go with it. A monitor, a gaming keyboard, a gaming mouse, a headset, a mousepad and a comfortable gaming chair. You will be able to find all of that in the “extra accessories” in the section below.

Best Gaming PC Under $2500

Corsair Graphite Series 780T Full Tower PC Case

To start off our list, we are going with a big item. The Corsair Graphite is a full tower case, meaning you will have no problem building your gaming PC as you will have more than enough space. On top of having a huge amount of space, this tower case is magnificent looking with a huge windowed side panel, perfect to show the interior of your ultimate gaming PC. You will make people jealous, believe me.

This model support up to 2 380mm radiators for custom water cooling setups, and it comes with 3 fans (2 intakes in the front and 1 exhaust in the rear) that’ll help to keep those interior temperatures nice and cool. On a bright note, there is a ton of free space for future upgrades.

MSI Pro Series Intel Z270 DDR4

The MSI Z270 SLI Plus is an amazingly versatile motherboard that comes with an extremely intuitive and easy to use BIOS and plenty of free room for future upgrades. This model supports 7th/6th Gen Intel Core/Pentium/Celeron processors for LGA 1151 socket, it also supports 64GB DDR4-3800+(OC) Memory, making it one of the best piece for the price.

It features an excellent integrated 7.1 channel audio chipset and built-in Ethernet controller, support for 2 M.2 SSDs, 6 SATA3 ports. This motherboard is the perfect piece for this build.

Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K

I have included this CPU in my previous build, and I did in this one as well. This is just the best high-end CPU you can find for the price. Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor Socket LGA 1151. This CPU is a Kaby Lake model, Quad-Core, 8 threads and a maximum frequency of 4.50 GHz, making it amazing for this build.

Unfortunately, this model does not come with a fan, I prefer to mentioning it, so if you decide to purchase it, you won’t have a surprise when you open the box. Since it does not come with a fan, I included one at the end of this build.

Graphics Card

2x EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING

Yes, you read that correctly two EVGA GeForce GTX 1080. One 1080 is extremely powerful, so imagine the power of two? Yes, it’s overkill, but hey, you want the ultimate gaming PC right? No game won’t perform flawlessly on this build. With that said, there will be some games that do not benefit from having a dual graphic card setup. I preferred to mention it.

This card is extremely fast and most games on the highest settings, it can even run games on 4k quite easily. On top of that, you can overclock it, and this model supports water cooling, this card is just perfect, it’s incredible.

Unfortunately, this card is not perfect, don’t worry it’s nothing big, but worth mentioning. The card can get loud under heavy load. You might need extra cooling as well. Despite that this card is one of the most powerful cards for the price.

Power Supply

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3, 80 Plus Gold 1000W

I decide to go with the most reliable power supply you can find for the price. I picked this model because it can power up all of the hardware in our build, especially with our dual graphics cards. This model has many features such has Fully Modular, Eco Mode with New HDB Fan and a 10 Year Warranty, which is perfect for our build.

Heavy-duty protections, including OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), and SCP (Short Circuit Protection). I almost forgot it offers a 10 Year Warranty and unparalleled EVGA Customer Support, making it the best PSU you can find for high-end builds.

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz

16GB of RAM is more than enough to run this build. I mean 16 GB is enough RAM to pretty much power up any computer build. Even if you play games on 4k, you will have the perfect amount of RAM. Since I picked a full tower case, space is not a problem, that is why I decided to pick 2 sticks of 8GB of ram. Even if you want to add more in the future, free space won’t be a problem.

Like I mentioned in my other article, I always go for DDR4 RAM because it “future proof” your gaming PC. Plus the price difference is not very much, so why not go for the most recent option.

Internal Hard Drive

WD Black 2TB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive

Since we have a big budget, I decide to go a little bit overboard. You don’t need more than 1 TB of space, but this hard drive offers 2TB. Having that much space is not necessary to play your favorite video game, but extra space will not hurt to have.

You will have a total of 2.5 TB of space in this build since I included a 500GB SSD as the next piece on my list. Believe me, with that much space you will be fully able to enjoy a multitude of games.

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD

I usually go with a 250GB SDD, but since we are building a monster, I decided to go with a 500GB, go big or go home right? I find it crucial to have an SSD when you have a high-end gaming PC. As a big SSD fan, I love it when my system takes less than 1 minute to load, even more, when my video games take less time to load.

Since I picked a 500GB over a 250GB, you will be able to install other things apart from your operation system on your SSD. I usually only install important things on the SSD, you do not want to overload it, it may slow it down when it’s too full.

Corsair Hydro Series H80i v2 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

When you have such a high-end computer, you need to have a high-end cooling system, and that is why I picked this CPU liquid cooling fan. Over the years liquid cooling has become quite popular in the gaming community, has many past problems have been solved. This Corsair Hydro is one of the best fans you can find for the price.

For people who don’t like liquid cooling, I have not forgotten you. I included this CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler. This fan will offer you an amazing performance for the price, making it the perfect CPU fan for our build.

Extra PC accessories

Unfortunately having your gaming tower isn’t the only thing you need to play PC video games. You will need PC accessories such as a monitor, a gaming keyboard, a gaming mouse, a headset, a mousepad and a comfortable gaming chair, for those long gaming sessions.

In the next section, I will present you my top picks for each category. My goal here is to make gamers fully experience video games with the best possible gear. Keep in mind these accessories do not go in our 2500$ budget if you decide to purchase these you will go over budget.

Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

Since we have spent so much money at this point, why not spend more? I decide to go with the Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27-Inch. This amazing 27-inch screen offers a superb screen clarity on a sharp QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution, great color consistency across an ultra-wide 178°/178° viewing angle.

Fully adjustable features like tilt, swivel, height adjust including pivoting both 90 Degree clockwise or counter-clockwise. This model is VESA-compatible, so you can wall mount your monitor or attach it to the optional Dell Single Monitor Arm. Making it awesome especially if you go for the dual monitor setup.

Corsair Gaming K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE Mechanical Keyboard

Another amazing gear to accompany your PC gaming. The Corsair Gaming keyboard is just fantastic. With the 1.2mm mechanical actuation and durability of Gold contact Cherry MX mechanical gaming key switches, making it great for any types of video games. 100% anti-ghosting and full key rollover.

My favorite feature on this keyboard is the CUE software. It enables the users to create macros and to fully customize your keys as you want. You can even customize the backlighting to your preferred taste. A genuinely superb keyboard for the price.

Razer Naga Hex V2 MOBA Gaming Mouse

I went for a safe pick. The Razer Naga Hex is an amazing mouse for the price. I know this mouse was designed for the MOBA video game genres, but you can still play others types of game with it. Each of these buttons is programmable, making it easy for the players to access their abilities in intense online matches.

What I find mind-blowing about this mouse is the 7 buttons mechanical thumb wheel. As a big MMO fan, I love having quick access to my abilities, and this mouse offers that. Another ridiculous feature is the 16,000 DPI 5G laser sensor capable of withstanding extremely high movement speeds.

Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC Gaming Headset

When it comes to audio, I love to have a high-quality headset, because audio is one of the most immersive parts of gaming. I decide to go with the Sennheiser Game Zero headset a fantastic pair of headphones. You can’t go wrong with Sennheiser. Crystal clear sound and microphone quality, perfect for online gaming, people won’t have a hard time communicating with you.

This model is lightweight yet robust design featuring XXL ear cups. On top of that, it offers a closed back design featuring tailored leatherette double layered memory-foam ear pads for maximum acoustic seal to block outside noise. Making them a superb choice when it comes to gaming.

Razer Firefly Chroma Custom Lighting Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad

I have to admit since I discovered this mousepad, I fell in love with it, I have included it in my previous build as well. Yes, I know it costs a lot for a mousepad, but this one is simply amazing. I mean it has lights coming out of it, plus you can customize it at will. With over 16.8 million customizable color options.

You could go for a more standard option as well. You do not need this mousepad to fully enjoy your favorite video games. I picked it because it adds to the “Coolness” of your PC setup. This model is made out of cloth surface, optimized for both speed and control play style, textured weave, optimized for all sensitivity settings and sensors.

Gaming Chair

Herman Miller Classic Aeron Task Chair

I decide to go with one of the most comfortable chairs available on earth. The Herman Miller Classic. This chair costs a small fortune, but for what it offers it is worth it. The high-tech mesh fabric gives a unique looking look to this chair. Plus you’ll stay cool and comfortable no matter what the season.

As a gamer, it is important to have an ergonomic chair, as we spend long hours sitting on it and if you don’t have a good chair, it could lead to back problems in the future. This chair uses a unique build to support your spine, it gives the user the same benefits as if he wast standing because an active body is at its strongest when standing.

This concludes our guide on the best gaming PC under $2500. This PC build is every gamers wildest dream, if you ever build on and bring it to conventions, believe me, people will be jealous of you. To be honest, you do not need a PC this strong to enjoy your favorite video game, but having a PC this powerful gives you the freedom to play any game on high settings plus it future proofs your PC for many years to come
